Witnesses

On a cold morning a bus is found on a coastal road. All 15 passengers have frozen to death. When Sandra Winckler is put on the case, the first thing she notices is that all passengers are dressed as if they are on their way to a wedding.

Sandra tries to find out where the bus came from. One clue is a case from 10 years earlier, in which a man was found frozen to death in a deserted bus.

The body of a young woman is found at the foot of a wind turbine. Research reveals that she had just given birth. Sandra suspects a bus will be found nearby with frozen bodies inside.

Now the murderer is after Sandra she is threatened to be taken off the case. A phone call from Catherine propels the case forward: she has found the perpetrator!

Sandra and Catherine set out to find out why Martin Souriau is keeping his mouth firmly shut. What does he know? The two woman devise a cunning plan so Martin will lead them to the murderer. Or will the killer outsmart them?

Sandra investigates the former orphanage on Mount Saint-Michel, where the murderer lived as a child. She has a list of all former students and decides to track them all one by one.
