Genshiken, Second Generation

The Shiiou University Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture is also known as Genshiken. This comes from its Japanese name, the Gendai Shikaku Bunka Kenkyuukai.

Mirei Yajima is struggling to accept Hato's crossdressing. Hato is a guy, but he's more attractive, nicer, and more talented than she is, and she feels inferior. Finally she makes a demand - that he stop wearing women's clothes altogether.

Is it time for Hato x Mada? Or will it be Mada x Hato? Maybe Hato-kun just needs to have a long talk with herself about this.

Ogiue overworks herself to finish both of her manga projects in time. Hato-kun learns the difference between cross-dressing and cosplay. And at Comic Festival, a visitor from Ogiue's past pays Genshiken's booth a visit.

Angela is interested in Madarame, but Hato thinks she's being too aggressive. Hato meets Kousaka for the first time, and is forced to reveal his true feelings about Madarame.

The girls try to apologize to Madarame about what happened at Comic Festival. Yoshitake brings someone new to visit Genshiken, which leads to Yajima and Hato having an awkward day.
