While living under the witness protection program in the United States, a dire situation will force Diego and Isabel to return to Mexico and face their enemies. This time, they can only emerge victorious or dead. Behind Isabel's back, Diego keeps in touch with his mother and surveils her every single move in order to protect her. One day, he loses track of her. Diego soon confirms that his mother has disappeared without a trace. He suspects that Circe or Mateo must be behind it and decides to go back to Mexico to rescue her. Diego already carries the burden of his brother's death on his shoulders and can't take one more family loss.
