William R. Moses

American actor William R. Moses gained fame in the '80s as a main character on the primetime soap "Falcon Crest" and in the film "Mystic Pizza." Born to actress Marian McCargo in Los Angeles, Moses found his niche early with a recurring role on the popular drama "Falcon Crest" in 1981 as Cole Gioberti. The role lasted until 1987 and during it he also found time to appear on "The Love Boat" and "Fantasy Island." After the series ended he appeared with Julia Roberts in the romantic comedy "Mystic Pizza" in '88 and began playing investigator Ken Malansky in a series of Perry Mason TV movies, beginning with "Perry Mason: The Case of the Lethal Lesson" and ending with "A Perry Mason Mystery: The Case of the Jealous Jokester" in 1995. His other roles in the '90s include a stint on the youth drama "Melrose Place" and a costarring role in the Sundance film "Fun." The busy actor could also be seen in the short-lived dramatic series "Fame L.A." and was a fixture on TV movies, including his principal role in the "Jane Doe" mysteries. More recently he had a recurring role in the family series "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" and played a bishop in an episode of the polygamist-drama "Big Love."
