Marjoe Gortner
Marjoe Gortner was widely known for his acting on the big screen. Gortner kicked off his entertainment career by acting in action flicks like "Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw" (1976) and the Marjoe Gortner film "Sidewinder One" (1977). He also starred in the TV movies "The Marcus-Nelson Murders" (CBS, 1972-73) and "Pray For the Wildcats" (ABC, 1973-74). He continued to act in productions like "Viva Knievel!" (1977), "Acapulco Gold" (1978) and "Starcrash" (1979). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Nina Van Pallandt action flick "Jungle Warriors" (1983), the crime picture "Hellhole" (1984) with Ray Sharkey and "The Survivalist" (1987). He also appeared in "American Ninja 3: Blood Hunt" (1989) and "Fire, Ice and Dynamite" (1990) with Roger Moore. Gortner more recently acted in the Jeff Bridges action film "Wild Bill" (1995).
