Joshua Bassett
Actor Joshua Bassett played Aidan Peters in kids sitcom "Stuck in the Middle" (Disney Channel, 2016-18) before landing the leading role of Ricky in the meta documentary-style series "High School Musical: The Musical" (Disney Channel, 2019-). Born in Oceanside, CA, Joshua Bassett followed in his five sisters' acting footsteps at the age of seven, going on to appear in over two dozen musical theatre productions various commercials before his mid-teens. After making his screen debut in "Limbo" (2015), a short film about an estranged father and son, Bassett guested as Will in the action drama reboot "Lethal Weapon" (Fox, 2016-) and Brock in "Game Shakers" (Nickelodeon, 2015-), the kids comedy about a pair of young gaming entrepreneurs. He got his big break when he was cast as Harley's lacrosse-playing boyfriend Aidan Peters in "Stuck in the Middle" (Disney Channel, 2016-18) and shortly after played a young Eric Bana in the true crime anthology "Dirty John" (Bravo, 2018-). That same year Bassett bagged the role of Henry, a high school junior who attempts to win his ex-girlfriend back by playing Troy Bolton in a production of "High School Musical," in the meta behind-the-scenes series "High School Musical: The Musical" (Disney Channel, 2019-).
