George Barraud

George Barraud was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Barraud's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as "Flaming Youth" (1923), "Little Old New York" (1923) and "The Wolf Man" (1924). He kept working in film throughout the twenties and the forties, starring in the Leatrice Joy drama "The Bellamy Trial" (1929), the Norma Shearer crime adaptation "The Last of Mrs. Cheyney" (1929) and "Ebb Tide" (1932). He also appeared in "Charlie Chan in London" (1934), "Stingaree" (1934) and the drama "Jericho" (1937) with Paul Robeson. Barraud last wrote the Stewart Granger romance "Adam and Evelyne" (1949). Barraud passed away in January 1970 at the age of 81.
