Mum is admitted into a private hospital, and struggles to accept her fate. Patrick has a party. Mum leaves the hospital and goes to find Josh. When Josh takes her back he meets her fellow patients, Hannah and Ginger.
Out of the blue, Geoffrey calls Josh and they go on a date. Dad and Mae have their first baby panic moment. Jenny discovers Tom is still having sex with Niamh and laughs it off. Impressed, Tom asks her to be his girlfriend.
Claire is staying with Tom, Josh and Patrick. Josh asks Dad for money to pay the plumber and gets lectured about getting a job. Mum and Ginger have a fight. The housemates go to see Jenny in a school production.
Claire declares she’s coming home. Niamh finds out about Jenny and Jenny dumps Tom. Patrick and Josh get stuck in a traffic jam and Patrick kisses Josh. Tom presents Jenny with a baby rabbit and Mum discovers Stuart has a wife.
It’s Josh’s first day on the job at his coffee cart. Dad tells him he’s going to propose to Mae. Meanwhile Stuart tells Mum he’s leaving. Arnold brings his psychiatrist to the cart to visit. Josh and Arnold take Tom along on their date.
