Wagner's Die Walkure

“Die Walkure,” the second opera in the Ring Cycle, is perhaps the most devastatingly moving, bringing human emotion to the fore. Wagner's rich orchestration is also at its most bombastic, especially in the famed “Ride of the Valkyries.”
