The Hours Of Light
A portrayal of aging and dealing with illness. Maria waits for eye surgery since she has become almost blind, but she's not alone. António, an old fisherman, takes care of her, hiding the secret of an old love, while Miguel, a mysterious boy, wanders through the city watching daily for Maria's house. Also her distant daughter Ana visits her, developing a feeling of compassion that seemed lost.
