A mention of 1980's hair metal band Cougarsnake by Billboard-charting, Gen-Z music star Bryce Cooper, creates a frenzy to find the band members and reunite them as opening act for Cooper’s forthcoming charity concert. High schoolers Alex and Kat join forces to get the band back together, but when the lead singer is hospitalized a reluctant replacement must overcome stage fright to save the show.
