College professor Celina (Hilda Koronel), flattered by the attention, encourages the infatuation of her student, Carlo (Richard Gomez). Despite her mother’s (Armida Siguion-Reyna) strong objection to their relationship, Celina joins Carlo for an out of town trip. Unbeknownst to Carlo and Celina, her mother has plotted to arrest and sue Carlo of abduction and rape. Out of fear, Celina abides by her mother and lies in court, sending Carlo to prison for five years. When he is released, Celina is already happily married to Jim (Jay Ilagan) but the obsessed Carlo is determined to win Celina back, at any cost.
