A Scottish Love Scheme

A Hallmark Channel original movie. Lily is ready to accompany her mother Cait on their annual trip to where Cait grew up in Scotland. This year, the two are going earlier than usual, which Lily thinks is her mother’s way of getting her mind off of her recent love woes. The trip starts off with a wonderful reunion between Cait and her childhood best friend Mairi, whose whisky distillery is now run by her three adult children: Caleb, James, and Logan with supervision from Logan’s 10-year-old son Finn! It’s a reunion for Lily and Logan, as well, who were close as kids. Upon seeing Lily and Logan laughing together, Cait and Mairi hatch a matchmaking scheme to get these two to spend more time together. Cait suggests Lily use her marketing expertise to advise on a new whisky brand – and Mairi suggests to Logan that he could use the extra eyes. The two bond over work and working dinners! Lily even saves the day at Finn’s rugby try-outs. But when Cait feels faint, Lily learns her mom has cancer – a diagnosis she was hiding until after the trip. Together with Logan, Lily puts together a heartfelt scavenger hunt for her mother and vows they will fight this together.
