Christmas in Notting Hill
Ted Lasso meets Notting Hill. Graham Savoy, 35, a popular football (soccer) star, nearing the end of his career, has always been too busy for love. However, due to a season ending injury, he’ll be home for the holidays and able to help his younger brother Henry, 25, pull off a proposal to his girlfriend on Christmas Day. Georgia Bright, 32, a special education teacher from Indiana, is spending Christmas in Notting Hill with her sister Lizzie, 23, and Lizzie’s boyfriend’s family. After arriving in London, Georgia helps Lizzie prep for Christmas by running errands but is derailed when she literally runs into Graham, spilling her coffee everywhere. It’s clear that Georgia doesn’t know who Graham is and rather than outing himself, he goes with it. Their chemistry is undeniable, but they part ways, leaving their next meet-cute up to fate. Later, Lizzie introduces Georgia to her boyfriend, Henry, who also happens to be Graham’s brother. Graham and Georgia eventually meet again and amongst the holiday gatherings and traditions it becomes clear they are starting to develop something meaningful, despite this complicated dynamic they find themselves in. Ultimately their affection for one another and the love they have for their siblings withstands the chaos, leading to a very happy Christmas for everyone.
