Annika's long-time dream of publishing her book of poetry has finally been realized – or so she thought. After meeting with the publisher, she discovers that her anthology isn't considered “marketable” enough. Instead, Rory suggests that she team up with Ryan, a former flame who also recently attempted (and failed) to get his photography publication off the ground. Rory encourages Annika and Ryan to pursue a new angle – finding Annika’s grandfather’s long-lost love and annotating the journey with pictures and poems. At first Annika is uncertain, but when she realizes this might be her only chance for publication, she reluctantly agrees.
