A Hallmark Channel original movie. Lilly’s the biggest Jane Austen fan in the world. She’s read all the novels, seen all the movies, and even runs a Jane Austen Society where fans meet to discuss Austen's works. For Lilly, It’s an excellent source of stress relief from her day job as an ad executive. She loves the courtliness and manners of Austen’s books and of course, how every novel has a perfect love story. After an unromantic proposal from her boyfriend, Lilly wishes offhandedly that she could talk to the real Jane, but she isn’t quite prepared for that wish to come true when the actual Jane Austen shows up in the living room of Lilly’s condo. Once she’s over the initial shock, Lilly is thrilled. It’s her dream to spend time with her absolute favorite writer in the whole world! Lilly introduces Jane to the modern world while Jane offers her advice on life, courtship, and the finer points of needlework. But things get complicated for Lilly when she meets Trevor Fitzsimmons, the insufferable new owner of a local bookstore, and now the latest client for Lilly’s ad agency. Trevor is completely tech focused, something Lilly absolutely abhors but because of her love for books, her boss thinks this is the perfect account to finally give Lilly the chance to move up at in the agency. As Lilly tries to come up with an ad campaign for Trevor’s store, she keeps running into this vexing man who challenges her views, while also balancing her relationship with Jane (who only she can see).
