Superman In Exile

S2 E7: When a nuclear pile at Project X starts to build pressure and threatens to destroy Metropolis and environs, it is Superman who zooms in and manages to save the day in the opening scenes of, "Superman In Exile." As a consequence, he becomes radioactive and must absent himself temporarily, opening the way for clever crooks to seize Lois as hostage, stage an air robbery and terrify mankind.
