S3 E8: The Bordelon family reels over the Landrys’ unnerving plan. Charley (Dawn-Lyen Gardner) asks Nova (Rutina Wesley) about her personal life, but Nova is not yet ready to reveal her relationship with Remy (Dondré T. Whitfield). Later, Charley invites Prosper to live in her home, and Nova discovers disturbing information about Sam Landry’s (David Jensen) connection to the EPA. Elsewhere, Nova’s book editor encourages her to tell a more personal story, and Ralph Angel (Kofi Siriboe) visits Darla’s (Bianca Lawson) apartment to arrange Blue’s (Ethan Hutchison) custody schedule. Meanwhile, Micah (Nicholas L. Ashe), Asha, Ant, Malik, and KJ come up with a new protest idea. Elsewhere, Violet’s (Tina Lifford) health issues get in the way of her business pitch, and she fears that her partnership with Jarrett Rawlings might be in jeopardy. Finally, Charley threatens the Landry Enterprises board, but Sam Landry’s (David Jensen) response leaves her outmaneuvered.
