Han Tae Sang is not your ordinary loan shark, as he dislikes using violence to force money out of debtors. He meets Seo Mi Do, the fiery daughter of one of the debtors who's not afraid to sell herself to save her family.
Han Tae Sang hires Seo Mi Do to work at his company.
Seo Mi Do goes on a business trip to a tropical resort and bonds with a fellow traveler while Han Tae Sang remains at the office, unable to get in touch with her.
Seo Mi Do returns to Korea where Han Tae Sang continues to try and get closer. Meanwhile, Lee Jae Hee is heartbroken that Mi Do had to leave.
Chang Hee is released from prison and Tae Sang helps him to resume his life, which becomes difficult when Yong Gap returns to dig up old skeletons.
Tae Sang does his best to get back on Mi Do's good side after her shock from seeing him in the office brawl.
