When the infectious outbreak first hits Chiba, Japan, Riri Mizukami (Hiyori Sakurada), a softball club member, encounters an infected person and realizes the virus will change everything forever. After escaping to a public shelter with her club, Riri discovers an infected person among them, forcing her to flee. She finds refuge in a Makuhari shopping mall, where she joins a diverse group of survivors who must work together to stay alive. As the outside world becomes a zombie hellscape, the survivors inside the mall create an unexpected community, with tensions and potential romantic connections emerging amid their struggle for survival. Adapted from the manga series "According to Six Survivors" by Kazune Yamamoto, "Six Survivors" is a 2022 Japanese romantic horror comedy drama directed by Ken Ninomiya.
