Hayato meets Otori Naru, a young girl searching the streets of Yanagihara for her bicycle at night, and accepts the job. She requests he find her stolen red bicycle. On his way home from receiving a job from editor Yoneda, Shusuke runs into author Tamaizumi Hiyoko. However, Shusuke confuses Hiyoko with another author and makes mistake after mistake. He regains his composure and heads to the mixer at Alexander, but...! Takashi has another peaceful day. He greets his friends, performs his student council duties and chats with his girlfriend Watarai Asuka. He sees a peaceful world through his eyes...

While searching the streets at night for a bicycle, Hayato happens across a battle between the YFB and R Wings. What started as games quickly changes with a single shot. Shusuke tries to repair his relationship with Hiyoko, but all his attempts backfire. He gets in an argument with Eriko over Hiyoko's book, and Hiyoko overhears his conversation... Takashi and his younger sister Kobato share breakfast. As usual, their interaction is strangely formal...

Shusuke and Hiyoko's relationship slowly begins to improve when they are attacked by a mysterious man wearing a hat. Hiyoko attempts to protect Shusuke, and Shusuke loses consciousness... Martinez is taken to the hospital after he is attacked by a mysterious assailant. When Hayato realizes the culprit is the bishop, feelings of rage begin churning in his heart. Hayato searches Yanagihara by night for the bishop. Sensing someone following him, Hayato prepares for a counterattack--but finds not the bishop, but a concerned Naru. The actual bishop appears and makes his move!
