Successful architect Alexandra is overcome with joy after she and her partner secure a contract for a skyscraper in Valencia; however, a phone call from the police in the middle of the night leaves her whole world in tatters.

Alex plunges into the world Oscar's second cell phone has presented her: hundreds of photos, videos and messages, which Alex straps to her apartment wall to make sense of Oscar's hidden, second life.

Alex finds herself forming a true and meaningful relationship with Veronica who remains oblivious to her new friend's true identity.

The more time Alex spends with Veronica and her daughter, Sol, in Albufera, the more she learns about Oscar's other life.

Veronica's house is broken into but nothing is stolen, prompting Inspector Conrado to suspect it may have something to do with Oscar's death.

Alex heads back to Valencia and locks herself into her apartment; Katia can't make it through to her even though she desperately needs Alex's signature under the commissioning contract for the skyscraper project.
