The Critical Hour: Shock Trauma

A student is shot while shielding a classmate from a gunman; a man crashes his new car; a youth is stabbed at a high school dance.

A boating accident lands a teen in the icy winter waters of the Chesapeake Bay. A Jehovah's Witness requires a life-saving blood transfusion, but the procedure is not allowed in her religion. A woman saves herself and her children from an apartment fire.

Warm weekend nights are busy at the Shock Trauma Center. As the temperature rises, tempers flare on the streets. Gunfire wounds several victims in unrelated shootings, and a homeless man is stabbed with a broken bottle.

When cars become weapons of destruction, Shock Trauma's first challenge is to save the life and then miraculously reconstruct a body torn apart. These crash out victims may not make it. If they do survive, their lives may be changed forever.
