The Amazing Mrs Pritchard
Fed up with the state of British politics and the politicians in office, supermarket manager Ros Pritchard runs as an independent candidate in the general election. To the surprise of everyone, her campaign quickly gains momentum and a previously apathetic country turns out in droves to elect Mrs. Pritchard prime minister in a landslide. At first, her no-nonsense approach to governing is appreciated, but the demands of the job and the media scrutiny soon begin to take their toll.
