The 39 Steps

Presented in the US by Masterpiece Theatre, this riveting and romantic new production from the BBC is an adaptation of the thriller directed by Alfred Hitchcock and penned by John Buchan. The protagonist, Richard Hannay (Rupert Penry Jones of 'MI-5' and 'Persuasion' fame) is caught up in a deadly conspiracy which not only threatens his life but the safety of Great Britain.
