Tang Ying (voiced by an uncredited actress) emerges as the sole survivor after the brutal Beiyi attack on Baicheng, a city in the Daiqi Kingdom. Witnessing her father's heroic defense of their city, she is devastated when he is posthumously accused of treason. Determined to clear his name, Tang Ying travels to the capital city, where she becomes entangled in a complex web of mysteries and secrets. As she investigates her father's alleged betrayal, she uncovers increasingly intricate and dangerous truths that challenge everything she believed. Her quest for justice becomes a perilous journey of discovery, pushing her to confront unexpected challenges and hidden agendas. This is a 2023 Chinese animated series based on the novel "She Hasn't Been a Heroine for Many Years" by Lan Aicao and directed by Huang Min.
