In 1955, a secret Finnish task force called The Fist operates a covert mission at the US Embassy in Helsinki that goes horribly wrong. In New York, Finnish student Helena Korhonen calls for help after an attack and is rescued by Tabe Slioor, an infamous socialite.

Determined to prove to her godfather, Yrjö, that she belongs in his organization, Helena makes a risky move that leads her to the hotel room of a CIA agent.

While Lisa, a new CIA agent, arrives in Finland, Finnish spy Olavi attempts to break into the Porkkala military base. Helena, trapped in Yrjö’s apartment, finds the door to the secret headquarters of the group.

Now an official member of the Fist, Helena watches Irina, the wife of KGB agent Sergejev. Unbeknownst to her husband, Irina has been selling information to the Americans.

Helena, Tabe, and Olavi travel to Moscow under the guise of performing in a private fashion show. There, Sergejev plans to tell Khrushchev to keep Porkkala, but Helena believes she can turn him.

Tabe throws a big party to celebrate prime minister Kekkonen and his successful trip to Moscow. Its real purpose is to gather intel about Kekkonen’s biggest competitor in the presidential election, the former prime minister Fagerholm.
