Rumbling Hearts

Haruka finally confesses her love for classmate Takayuki. But the dream-come-true quickly sours, as even the best intentions cannot stand up to the emotions of the young at heart.

Life could not be better for Haruka and Takayuki. But unexpected feelings of jealousy drive Mitsuki to meddle. Running late for his date with Haruka, Takayuki bumps into Mitsuki once again.

Three years have passed since the accident, and Haruka is still in a coma. Takayuki and Mitsuki are in a loveless relationship and ridden with guilt. Of their old group, only Shinji has made something of his life.

Things finally begin working out for Takayuki and Mitsuki - until Haruka wakes up and asks to see Takayuki. Suffering from amnesia, she believes they are all still in high school together.

Flashback: Guilt-ridden Mitsuki has been taking care of grief-stricken Takayuki as best she can. After she reaches out to finally confess her long-hidden love, Akane finds out about it in the worst possible way.

Takayuki visits Haruka every day, remembering that she was once the most important thing in his life - and wondering if she still is. Meanwhile, Mitsuki’s attempts to visit Haruka are stopped by an angry Akane.
