R.I.P. Henry

Top Norwegian surgeon Henry is excited to leave Odda for his dream job at a more renowned hospital in Bergen, but tensions arise when his Danish replacement arrives, and strong visual disturbances lead Henry to do a self-CT scan in secret.

As Henry's health deteriorates, he attempts to conceal his symptoms by using another patient's identity to acquire painkillers and then figure out what is wrong with him.

In Ola's basement, Henry begins to experiment on himself, but when new symptoms emerge right before he is scheduled to perform a complicated surgery, he wonders whether he can still do his job.

While still on call at Odda, Henry travels to Bergen for a required health examination for his new job; Agnes goes to Haukeland hoping to solve the "Samuelsen Enigma"; they are both soon called back to Odda for a patient emergency.

Preoccupied, Henry ignores a protest against closing the hospital's emergency department; Agnes and Henry disagree on how to treat a critically ill patient -- with serious consequences for Henry.

Despite going against everything he believes in, Henry travels abroad to an alternative medicine center out of desperation, leading to a rare moment of revelation and catharsis; Henry returns home and learns the identity of the sign-shooter.
