Armando Quiroga is the richest and snobbiest man in the town of San Juan, and whom everyone respects. Elsa, his daughter, falls in love with Andrés Martínez, son of Silvia, a domestic worker of the Montero family. Both have a secret love and, when Armando discovers it, he opposes this relationship because for him, Andrés is not worthy of his daughter's love.
