Morocco: Love in Times of War
In 1920s North Africa, the Berber peoples of the mountainous territory of Rif resist the authority of Spanish-controlled Morocco, leading to war. To help Spanish soldiers injured in the conflict, Queen Victoria Eugenia sends a group of trainee nurses from Madrid's upper class to open a hospital in the autonomous city of Melilla. Along the way, the women find friendship and romance while saving the lives of the soldiers on the front lines.
