Haunted by the fallout of her work taking down a drug cartel in Miami, Detective Syd Burnett (Gabrielle Union) teams up with LAPD Detective Nancy McKenna (Jessica Alba) to take on some of the city’s most dangerous criminals.

As Dante Sherman (Berry Sloane) is targeted for the loss of $20 million in drugs that went missing from his brother’s nightclub, McKenna (Jessica Alba) and Syd (Gabrielle Union) investigate the murder of a woman whose death played out in a viral video.

McKenna (Jessica Alba) and Syd (Gabrielle Union) connect a sightseeing helicopter owner’s death to a series of bank robberies. Patrick’s (Ryan McPartlin) appointment as District Attorney is complicated by threats from drug boss Gabriel Knox.

McKenna (Jessica Alba) and Syd (Gabrielle Union) plot to keep control of a big drug case. As Syd confronts painful memories of her days in Miami, McKenna worries about Izzy’s (Sophie Reynolds) suspicious behavior.

As Robbery Homicide investigates a serial killer who is targeting transgender people, Syd’s (Gabrielle Union) former boss asks her to help him bring down Gabriel Knox. Patrick (Ryan McPartlin) worries that someone is undermining first big case as DA, while McKenna (Jessica Alba) helps Izzy (Sophie Reynolds) deal with her mother’s death.

Facing threats from Knox, Dante (Barry Sloane) enlists Syd (Gabrielle Union) and McKenna (Jessica Alba) to find his hit man. Baines (Duane Martin) and Walker (Zach Gilford) continue their pursuit of the killer who is targeting trans people.
