La Porta Rossa

Trieste Police Headquarters. Commissioner Leonardo Cagliostro receives a tip about the whereabouts of the Mexican, an infamous drug trafficker responsible for the spread of Red, a new and very dangerous drug.

The news of Cagliostro's death could not have come at a worse time in Anna's life. His obvious pain is tinged with anger and hatred towards his father, Elvio, who never accepted Cagliostro as his son-in-law, dead or alive.

Living a nightmare, Cagliostro attends his own funeral, during which he witnesses the pain of the people who loved him, and is surprised by a strange encounter: Jonas, a mysterious young man in the same condition as him.

It seems that each of Cagliostro's companions has a secret to hide, and each could be his killer. The commissioner suspects Inspector Paoletto, with whom he had a terrible relationship.

Anna refuses to accept the idea that she knows nothing about her husband's death or the last months of his life. He decides to explore the world that Cagliostro kept secret from him: mysterious apartments and questionable nightclubs.

Word quickly spread that Commissioner Cagliostro was corrupt and that he was the mole passing information to criminals from police headquarters. Even Deputy Police Chief Rambelli begins to suspect him.
