INTO THE UNKNOWN: MAKING FROZEN 2 is a documentary series that chronicles the production of the second movie in the iconic Frozen franchise. It's less than a year before the world premiere of Frozen 2, and directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck are working harder than ever to make sure that the many pieces of the movie are coming together. Viewers get a glimpse at the film's different stages of production, ranging from reviewing animated storyboards under the direction of Marc E. Smith, to recording songs written by Frozen's Oscar winning songwriters Bob Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. As the pressure mounts to complete the feature film, it also reveals how they navigate the many challenges that come with producing a movie that stays true to the original, tells a unique story, and lives up to the Disney standard.
