Ramsey Shepherd arrived in Atlanta as a barber with a plan to become an entrepreneur in the beauty salon business. After a lot of hard work and some luck, the strategy paid off a few years later with the opening of Salon Ramsey. "Ink, Paper, Scissors" lets viewers in on the everyday action at the urban empire, which now spans five locations and employs more than 100 hair stylists, nail technicians, barbers and tattoo artists. The flagship salon is a hotspot for Atlanta's most demanding customers -- celebrities, athletes, rappers -- but the competition for clients can cause best friends among the staff to turn on one another.
