Ghost Mine

In the remote woods of Oregon lies one of the richest gold mines in the United States that was abandoned 80 years ago when a series of tragedies gave it an infamous reputation for being haunted. Now, a new owner has decided to take on the notorious legend and reopen the mine, assembling a colorful team of miners - both seasoned and new - to battle the elements along with a pair of experienced paranormal investigators, in hopes of finding a fortune.

In this episode of Ghost Mine - after a chilling encounter with the 'Tommyknockers' causes one miner to flee, the paranormal team use a robotic probe to investigate the mine and make an eerie discovery! Then - with the lack of gold causing morale to drop, the mine owner brings the miner's families into town for a much-needed get together. But the evening takes a terrifying turn as one family encounters a mysterious dark entity in their room. Patrick and Kristen investigate the Bed and Breakfast and learn that it not only has a mysterious past, it's also apparently filled with paranormal activity. As the investigators continue to turn up clues in town - the miners get back to work and finally strike the first promising signs of gold.

After a series of mysterious power failures in the mine sends the paranormal team in to investigate, they encounter strange activity that leaves one of the investigators shaken. And as the miners forge ahead, surveillance cameras in the tunnel capture a startling, unexplained discovery. Looking for answers to the series of mysteries, Kristen meets up with a Native American historian who believes he knows the source of the paranormal activity at the mine. Will the team's investigation of the town’s historic Dredge reveal a dark curse on Sumpter itself?

The miners continue to find high-grade gold ore in the old mine, while the paranormal team makes a surprising discovery after an eerie encounter with a mysterious "phantom wind" in the mine leaves two miners badly shaken.

The paranormal investigators learn about the mine’s connection to a secret society and that there may be another, more mysterious tunnel within reach. Will Patrick and Kristen track down the new mine? Has it been sealed all these years to keep people out or to keep something else inside?
