Dalia arrives at Los Tres Potrillos ranch to interview the great Vicente Fernandez. The ranchero idol begins by recalling the terrible moments he experienced when his eldest son was kidnapped. Also, the singer remembers the first years of his life.

Vicente recalls his beginnings in music, since he received his first guitar until he successfully performed in various singing contests on the radio. Also, he recalls the first time that he presented symptoms of a serious health problem.

Vicente finds out his mother is very ill with cancer. The singer goes to church and meets the great love of his life. Years later, Refugio reiterates his love for Vicente, while he makes it clear to his children how he plans to distribute his inheritance.

Dalia continues the interview with Vicente and questions the love he feels for his wife. He remembers that while they were newlyweds they moved to the capital, where Refugio told him she was pregnant. Later, Vicente Jr. is born sooner than expected.

Vicente Fernández narrates the birth of his first child and how the baby managed to cling to life after coming into the world prematurely. Also, he recalls the enormous anguish he and his wife experienced after paying the ransom for their eldest son.

Mrs. Paula is dying and Vicente manages to tell her how much he loves her before she leaves this world. Years later, the singer proudly shows the great union he has achieved among the Fernandez family.
