Adapted by Oscar winner Julian Fellowes from Anthony Trollope's novel, this "lush, light period drama"" (Guardian) tells of a kindly doctor and his beautiful but penniless niece, Mary (Stefanie Martini). She is in love with Frank (Harry Richardson), the heir to a heavily indebted estate whose mother insists he marry for money. Ian McShane, Tom Hollander, Alison Brie, and Rebecca Front also star.
