To help her daughter, Adelaida, who must receive medical treatment, Pilar agrees to be a drug trafficking mule, but she is caught and has to serve jail time in Mexico. After six years, Pilar returns to Colombia, where she has to discover where her child is. Adelaida, now named Paula, lives with her biological father, Sergio, and his wife, Cristina. Pilar fights to recover custody of her daughter, clean her name and help others in the same situation she lived in. She has to defeat those who introduced her to the drug trafficking world to achieve these goals.
