Cinderella's Sister

Kang-sook and her daughter Eun-jo escape from the abusive Mr. Chang with his diamond ring. Later they run into Hyo-seon, a total stranger, and ask her to hold onto the ring that Mr. Chang's gang is after.

Despite her mother's successful marriage to Dae-sung, Eun-jo is unhappy and causes disturbance in the house.

Faking tears in front of Dae-sung, Kang-sook tells him that no one in the house accepts her and her daughter. Meanwhile, Eun-jo and Ki-hoon become closer.

Ki-hoon leaves a letter for Eun-jo saying that he will stay if she stops him from leaving at the train station. Hyo-seon keeps Ki-hoon’s letter from Eun-jo who looks for him at the bus station.

Eight years have passed and Ki-hoon has returned. He feels betrayed when Eun-jo acts as though there was nothing between them. Meanwhile, Kang-sook runs into her old flame, Mr. Chang.

Eun-jo faints at the lab after many sleepless nights. Kang-sook blurts out that she is only with Dae-sung for his money, which he overhears.
