It's time for the summer camp all extraordinary kids are waiting for: Camp Newton! Since her mother, Monica, is busy at work, Sara can attend the camp another year along her inseparable Lucía and her friends Álex and Oliver. What this group of friends could never imagine is that this year's camp will change their lives. One of the secret experiments carried out by The Agency, led by Margo, turns out wrong, and an alien escapes and crashes in the woods near the camp. Hoshi, helpless in the forest that surrounds the camp, stumbles upon the friends.
The friends discuss what to do with Hoshi and decide they must help him in his mission: he needs to fix the transmitter to find his ship and return home. While they get to work they hide him at the camp so he doesn't raise suspicions. To get away with it, Hoshi adopts the appearance of a former Newton camper. Elsewhere, a race begins between The Agency and the Fortuna family to find the alien. The scientists are in the lead, but the Fortunas realize they're onto something big and they want their piece of the pie – no matter what it takes.
The kids put their abilities to good use: Óliver and Andy create a fake identity for Hoshi. He'll be Blas, a boy who attended the camp years ago. Meanwhile, Sara and Álex try to fix the transmitter. Érika takes advantage of a slip-up to steal the device, and Lucía hacks Newton so that Hoshi is assigned to her team, separating him from the friends. Érika doesn't trust Hoshi. She decides to follow him one night and almost catches him in his alien form, but Hoshi transforms into Érika herself, who faints from the shock of seeing her mirror image.
Érika is convinced the only explanation for having seen herself is that the transmitter is a tool belonging to a time traveler. Tinkering with the stolen transmitter, she triggers an alarm that activates the ship at the Fortuna's junkyard, opening it for the brothers. Meanwhile, at The Agency, Salazar, under pressure from Margo, who insists on separating her son and Mónica, receives a signal from the transmitter: it's at Camp Newton. A picture of him as a Newton camper reveals he's the boy Hoshi chose as his disguise.
The friends, grounded for trying to run away, are forced to postpone their plan to get the ship. The two snitches, Érika and Lucía, also end up grounded for leaving the cabins at night. The time has come to reach an agreement. At The Agency, Mónica finishes fixing the machine with Salazar. Their connection is cut short when they discover another partnership that has formed between Vania and Margo. Vania has shown her progress to the boss, who has given her Salazar's job. Margo has just fired her own son, who remembers being attacked by Hoshi as a child.
The friends come up with a plan to change the GPS location of the day's activities so the final destination becomes the junkyard where the transmitter is placing the ship. They want to take advantage of the chaos of the kids' arrival to recover the ship. The plan has a weak spot: they need the best hacker, Lucía. Meanwhile, Mónica talks to Salazar about her concerns regarding Vania's intentions, who is willing to use any means necessary to trap Hoshi. They have to get ahead of Margo's second-in-command. This becomes easier for Salazar when he discovers that, thanks to his mental bond with Hoshi, he can see what the alien sees.
