Betting on Paradise

The site inspection kicks off with telltale cracks that spell disaster, but the newly-minted hoteliers embrace the bright side of demolition as they create a luxe tropical oasis from scratch. Also, the family makes time for a magical beach celebration.

Work on the sewage system opens up a budget-busting sinkhole in the yard, and the build falls a week behind schedule. Steph gets creative and kicks the honeymoon suite into turbo mode, and Luke promises a solution when the windows arrive without screens.

The race is on to complete the poolside guest rooms, but Luke's progress is threatened with a red-tape snafu that brings work to a standstill. Also, a celebrated mural painter has a vision and the family heads into the rainforest for a zipline adventure.

With work on the pool area at a standstill, Steph and Luke kick the garden rooms into high gear. The pool bar gets under way, but the garden plan hits a concrete roadblock. Also, Luke's parents arrive in Costa Rica with plenty of love and encouragement.
