Bai Ling Tan
Once the guardian of all demons, Chun Yao (Fiction Guo) was banished from the heavens after making a grave mistake. Sent to live in the Hundred Spirits Lake, Chun Yao accepted his fate and wasted no time in settling into his new life. Setting himself up as the demon king, Chun Yao now rules his domain as the king of all monsters. As the princess of Bailu Kingdom, Han Sheng (Connie Kang) should not have been one to wander through the realm of the Hundred Spirits Lake, especially not while carrying a book only the spirits should possess. Unfortunately, her mistake draws the attention of Chun Yao himself, and the demon lord, drawn by the book, pursues her. Determined to have the book for himself, Chun Yao’s attempts to take it are thwarted, leaving him no choice but to accept Han Sheng’s assistance in uncovering the book's meaning and its many tales. Working through the book together, Chun Yao and Han Sheng relive the memories of the various spirits and monsters recorded therein. As they’re moved by tales of love, hatred, greed, and ignorance, they find their hearts softening. But can a demon lord and a princess find love through a book? Based on the novel of the same name by Wu Yu, “Good and Evil” is a 2021 Chinese fantasy romance drama directed by Huang Chun.
