The tiny, off-the-grid town of Terlingua, Texas borders the Rio Grande River and Big Bend National Park. With the nearest modern city amenities over 200 miles away, Terlingua is less a community and more of a state of mind. In the wake of the brutal murder of Glenn Felts, the townspeople struggle to make sense of the crime and determine how life in their tiny paradise can ever be the same.

The brutal beating and death of beloved Terlingua resident, Glenn Felts, stuns the community and launches a search for answers. Felt's good friend, Tony Flint, a local river guide, is arrested on suspicion of murder. Stunned residents react and speculate on what could have happened. As townspeople await the start of trial, they recollect both men in very different ways.
