Eliza Romero and Sofía Villavicencio are two immigrants who come from opposite worlds to the United States. They have cultural gaps and different ways of looking at life when reflecting on the day-to-day life of migrants trying to break through abroad, often with hostility. One chases a dream, and the other runs away from a nightmare. Eliza and Max and Sofía and Ernesto are outwardly happy couples; but there are facets in each of them that they are about to discover. And when they do, they will leave the couples speechless.
