Anna and Mursel met online and although they don't speak the same language, he proposed after two months. Mursel arrives in Nebraska from Turkey and is not well received by Anna's family, and she questions if he will tell his family about her sons.
Anna and Mursel have a heart-to-heart and she feels torn between the man she loves and the sons she adores. Later, Anna's friends struggle to communicate with Mursel at her bridal shower, and Mursel is unhappy with the way her sons treat him.
Anna shops for a wedding dress with her friend and can't hide her sadness. Her sons cannot picture a future with Mursel because he's keeping them a secret, and Anna gives him an ultimatum to tell his family about her boys or the wedding is off.
When Mursel finally tells his family about Anna's boys, they tell him to return to Turkey immediately. Anna feels like Mursel is choosing his family over her and desperately tries to make him stay, but a distraught Mursel feels he must return home.
Mursel's parents make the shocking decision to let him marry Anna and when he returns to America, they have mere hours to have the ceremony. Later, quarantine turns their lives upside down, but it helps to tend to their bees and their relationship.
