Zaide Silvia Gutiérrez
Zaide Silvia Gutiérrez was an actress who was no stranger to being featured in numerous film roles throughout her Hollywood career. Gutiérrez's earliest roles were in film, including the Ernesto Gomez Cruz drama "El Norte" (1984), "El Imperio de la Fortuna" (1986) and the action film "Firewalker" (1986) with Chuck Norris. She also appeared in "Miracles" (1986) with Tom Conti and "City of the Blind" (1991). She continued to act in productions like "Highway Patrolman" (1993), the Susana Zabaleta mystery "All of Them Witches" (1996) and the Diana Bracho comedic adaptation "Entre Pancho Villa y una Mujer Desnuda" (1996). She also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "Death and the Compass" (1997) with Peter Boyle. She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "American Family" (PBS, 2001-04). In her more recent career, she tackled roles in "Ciudades oscuras" (2002), the crime drama "Bordertown" (2007) with Maya Zapata and "Charm School" (2007) with Martha Higareda. She also was featured in the TV movie "In the Time of the Butterflies" (Showtime, 2001-02). Gutiérrez most recently acted in the Kuno Becker drama "Cabeza de Buda" (2009).
