William Gould

William Gould was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Gould appeared in such films as "Flirting With Love" (1924), the western "Phantom Thunderbolt" (1933) with Ken Maynard and the Ken Maynard western "The Trail Drive" (1934). He also appeared in the Ken Maynard western "Smoking Guns" (1934), the Tom Tyler western "Terror of the Plains" (1934) and the western "Unconquered Bandit" (1935) with Tom Tyler. His film career continued throughout the thirties in productions like the Robert Livingston western "Wild Horse Rodeo" (1937), "Mr. Wong, Detective" (1938) with Boris Karloff and "Red Barry" (1938). He also appeared in the drama "Gangster's Boy" (1938) with Jackie Cooper. In the latter half of his career, he continued to act in the comedy "The Man Who Lost Himself" (1941) with Brian Aherne, "Tanks a Million" (1941) and "Man From Montana" (1941). He also appeared in the Dennis Morgan western "Bad Men of Missouri" (1941) and "Pot o' Gold" (1941) with James Stewart. Gould was most recently credited in "Grosse Pointe Blank" (1997). Gould passed away in May 1969 at the age of 83.
