William Armstrong
William Armstrong was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Armstrong worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Carlito's Way" with Al Pacino (1993), "Hope and Glory" with Sarah Miles (1987) and "Scent of A Woman" (1992). He also contributed to "Superman IV: the Quest for Peace" (1987) starring Christopher Reeve, "The American Way" (1987) starring Dennis Hopper and "The Gate" with Christa Denton (1987). In the nineties, Armstrong devoted his time to various credits, such as "Big Night" (1996), "The Preacher's Wife" (1996) and "Meet Joe Black" (1998) starring Brad Pitt. He also worked on "RKO 281" with Liev Schreiber (1999). More recently, he tackled roles in "Out of Season" (2004), "Derailed" (2005) and the suspenseful adaptation "1408" (2007) with John Cusack. Armstrong also contributed music to the dramatic comedy "Almost Famous" (2000) with Billy Crudup. Most recently, Armstrong appeared on "WWII Behind Closed Doors: Stalin, the Nazis and the West" (2008-09).
