Whitford Kane
Whitford Kane was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Kane began his career with roles in the Robert Montgomery drama "Hide-Out" (1934) and the Fredric March adaptation "The Adventures of Mark Twain" (1944). Kane next focused his career on film, appearing in the Gene Tierney comedy "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" (1947), "My Dog Rusty" (1948) and "The Walls of Jericho" (1948). Later in his career, Kane acted in the Alexander Knox dramatic comedy "The Judge Steps Out" (1949). Kane passed away in December 1956 at the age of 75.
